.The Nero Classics length is a little longer than mid thigh.  We consider the length to be correct but if you prefer a short that is around your knee cap you will consider it to be short.  We tried a pair on and on a 6-2 male wearing a large the shorts were past mid thigh and around 4 inches above the knee cap.  We perfer this length to help keep those tan lines hidden while wearing normal shorts.

Chamois Cream is not needed with this pad. Castelli uses infinite shaping of the high density foam to make sure that you have exactly the right support where you need it with a dual density in the ischial zone which tapers to moderate thickness in the perineum and minimum thickness at the preimeter.

  .NOTE ON SIZING :  It is out opinion these shorts run ONE SIZE SMALL.  We have a sizing chart below but we strongly suggest you go up one size.  So for instance if you normally wear a medium, they have the waist size as 29-31 inches, we would suggest going up to the large at 32-36.
