DMT Radial Cycling Shoes SPEEDPLAY Soles

The Radial is a light and highly technical cycling shoe. It features a lightweight resistant upper constructed of microfiber with a mesh lining in slip-lasted construction.  This type of construction yields a lightweight shoe without requiring a mid-sole board and allows the upper to wrap around your foot providing a sock-like fit without irritating seams.

Features Include:

• The microfiber upper is extremely breathable and the mesh lining increases air-flow to keep your feet cool and dry
• A soft padded collar with additional clearance for the ankle offers freedom of movement without putting pressure on the sides of the foot
• The anatomically designed padded external heel counter holds your foot securely preventing slipping of the heel in the shoe
• A lightly padded tongue is relieved at the ankle to avoid creating a pressure point
• Closure is by three Velcro straps secured with stainless steel d-rings
• The CX Carbon Fiber sole is constructed with nine layers of Toray MR60 Carbon Fiber
• The thickness of the sole will vary along the length of the sole, but at the critical cleat interface it is quite thin with a thickness of 3.5 mm giving a very low foot-to-pedal distance
• The sole features a calibrated grid to make cleat adjustment quick and easy as well as a textured surface at the cleat interface to reduce the chance of the cleat slipping and negate the need for using sandpaper or other inserts for this purpose
• The supplied, removable insoles feature soft vibration dampening inserts under the critical contact points for increased comfort
